Easy Halloween Treats

This year for Halloween we decided to make some easy Halloween treats at home as we are all unwell and aren’t able to go out trick-or-treating. It was lots of fun to make and share these together!

Spooky Monster Cupcakes

For these spooky monster cupcakes I made a some chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. The kids asked for them to be purple and green and we put monster eyes on them. These were probably the most time consuming to make but definitely worth the effort as they were delicious!

Banana Ghosts

We also made these banana ghosts which were super quick and easy, just some banana and melted chocolate!

Monster Jelly

Our monster jelly cups were also so quick and easy to make. We poured green jelly mix into some empty jars then stuck the eyes on top with a tiny bit of white chocolate after it was set.

Pumpkin Puffs

Our pumpkin puffs were made using only 2 ingredients - puff pastry and biscoff spread. They were so yummy, we will definitely be making these again!

Mummy Cake Balls

To make these mummy cake balls I used some of the chocolate cake mix and buttercream icing we already had from making the monster cupcakes. We rolled the mixture into a ball shape and put them in the freezer to set for a while, then dipped them in melted white chocolate. To finish, we drizzled them with more white chocolate and added the eyes.

Halloween Chocolate Bark

Our halloween chocolate bark was so yummy and easy to make, too. We melted some chocolate then added sprinkles, sour bitecralwers, monster eyes and sprinkles.

We had so much fun sharing these yummy treats while we listed to some halloween songs and then we sat down to watch movies together. We watched Mickey Mouse Halloween Spooktacular and the Nightmare Before Christmas. We are looking forward to going trick-or-treating next year and of course making some of our easy halloween treats again!
