The Me & Mine Project – September 2018

Our family - September 2018

We started September with a trip down to London for Elijah's Australian passport interview. I haven't mentioned it on my blog before, but if you follow me on Instagram, you might know that we are planning to move to Australia next year. We are still waiting to hear about Joel's visa but we now have Elijah's Australian passport which is a huge weight off our shoulders. We did LOTS of walking, visited Buckingham Palace, The Natural History Museum, St James's Park, Trafalgar Square and of course, Peggy Porschen. I had a salted caramel cupcake which was absolutely divine. It was so nice to have a few days away together.

It was also my birthday this month, I got a lovely bunch of flowers, some clothes, vouchers, money and cards. Elijah's biggest cousin's birthday is on the same day as mine and unfortunately we couldn't make it to his party because Elijah and I came down with a sickness bug a few days before my birthday. We didn't start to feel better for at least a week afterwards, and luckily Joel didn't catch anything off us.

Joel and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary towards the end of the month, I honestly don't know where the time has gone! We are so happy together, and I would honestly be lost without Joel by my side through good times and bad.

We have finished watching Grimm now and have moved on to The Great British Bake Off. We usually watch it online after it has aired and catch up on a few episodes at a time. If you are watching it too, we're probably not up to date yet - so no spoilers, please!

I finished reading "Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine" and I absolutely loved it. I would love to know what you thought of it if you've read it too. And I have also started reading "How To Be Happy" By Eva Woods which seems good so far.

What have you been up to this month? I'd love to know, let's chat in the comments.
